Fearful and anxious dog confidence building training
About this program

Is your dog struggling with fear or separation anxiety?

Is your dog easily scared? Do they react and bark nonstop when guests come over? Do they follow you everywhere and never settle? Does your dog cry, whine or bark when you leave the house? Are you always worried about their wellbeing and feel like you've tried everything?

Fear and insecurity don't disappear with time, and medication from your vet doesn't create confidence and resiliency. You're not alone if you feel desperate, and it doesn't have to be this way — there are solutions to helping your dog feel calm, relaxed and more confident.

At Leadership Based Dog Training we turn insecure dogs into confident companions.

Why nothing has worked

You've tried toys, treats, baby talking, more exercise, other trainers, or even medication from your vet, yet nothing changes or improves. Fear and insecurity don't disappear with time and medication from your vet doesn't create confidence and resiliency.

What Actually Works

A structured approach that builds real confidence

1

Structure & Routine

Anxiety stems from lack of structure, clarity, and leadership. We implement calm, consistent routines so your dog learns to relax on command, settle in place, and walk calmly on leash.

2

Controlled Exposure

We systematically introduce triggers with clear rules — building confidence through positive, structured experiences rather than avoidance.

3

Positive Reinforcement & Positive Associations

Your dog will receive the best care possible during training. We replace uncertainty with clarity. You'll learn crate and place training, impulse control, structured greetings, independence training, and confidence building through exposure.

4

Separation Anxiety Protocol

Short 10–15 minute daily training sessions teach your dog to self-soothe and remain calm when you leave. You'll see noticeable improvement from session one.

Your dog deserves a more confident life, free from constant fear and anxiety — and I can help you start seeing that change right away.

The Difference in My Approach

I Will Never Tell You

  • That it's hopeless to address your dog's separation anxiety.

  • 2 Calmly greet guests at your door without any barking and have your dog settle when you leave.
  • 3 Provide your dog with the structure, enrichment, and joyful experiences they need every day.
